For primary care services, NO. We guarantee same-day visits if you call or walk in, even if it is not urgent. Our primary care office and pediatrics both offer urgent care services. If you prefer having a set appointment time, you can book this from the comfort of your home, office or even your smartphone.

Gateway was founded by physicians in 1984 and retained the Gateway Medical name with a change in physician ownership in 2004. You may see Primary & Multi-Specialty Clinics of Anaheim, Inc. (PMCA) on patient billing statements while you may see Gateway references on our buildings, as well as brochures, website, business cards, patient portal, appointment cards and more.

We are the same company. Gateway Medical Center is the main campus located at 710 N. Euclid Street in Anaheim. Gateway Urgent Care is located around the corner at 1006 West LaPalma Street in Anaheim and provides Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine services.

Absolutely. Just select Appointments on our Home Page. From there, look under Primary Care, select an office location, select the service or provider, and choose the time you prefer. Thats it. For specialty physicians and diagnostic services, appointments are easily scheduled using our Reserve an Appointment, feature also found under Appointments on the Home Page.

Gateway Medical Center physicians are on staff at Anaheim Regional Medical Center, just over a mile away from our main campus. In addition, our Orthopedists are also on staff at Placentia Linda, Western Medical Center Anaheim and various local surgicenters. Most often, your insurance company determines which hospital you will use.

Most often, your insurance company determines which hospital you will use or you may be restricted by your health plan. Typically, you will follow up with your primary provider at our office. We work hard to help coordinate your care as needed.

Our providers make all necessary referrals to provide you with the best medical care. Approval of referrals are primarily dictated by your insurance company, healthplan or IPA. We work hard to be responsive to any information requested of us and communicate what we know about your referral to you.

The site includes Primary Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, a Pharmacy And Radiology Services. Our Anaheim Hills office is located at 500 S. Anaheim Hills Road, Suite 230, Anaheim Hills, CA 92807 and offers primary care, family practice, internal medicine and allergy-immunology.

Our Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine center is located at 1006 W. La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92801. This location offers care for Allergies, Cold & Flu, Ear Infections, Lacerations, Wound Care, Sprains, Strains, Fractures with treatment for all ages. Urgent Care has extended hours with no appointment necessary. Occupational Medicine offers 24 hour Injury Care, DOT Physicals, Drug & Alcohol Screening, Immunizations & Vaccinations and Pre-Placement Physicals.

We are participating providers for most health plans and insurances, both HMO and PPO/HSA, and Covered California.

No problem. For those patients without insurance, we are proud to offer our Cash Price list and will work with you on any bill.

Please contact us for refills well in advance of your last dosage because many medications should be taken daily and never be skipped. We are capable of sending most prescriptions electronically directly to your pharmacy.

No. Your future primary care physician will gladly meet with you to discuss his philosophy, his background training, and any questions you have about the practice. We regret that current regulations do not allow the physician to perform a physical exam, write prescriptions or dispense medical advice during this introductory meeting.

Gateway Medical Center is comprised of a variety of physicians, allowing us to see patients from the minute they are born. The cornerstone of the group is made up of board-certified Family Physicians, Internal Medicine and Pediatricians.

We suggest you complete the patient registration forms from the comfort of your home, using the Patient Registration service available on this website. If you are not able to do this, allow an additional 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete the paperwork. Additionally, please bring your most current insurance card, and a form of identification (such as a California Drivers License). We apologize in advance, the majority of this paperwork is mandated by health plans or government agencies.

No. We are a group of doctors that practice medicine. We take payments from HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, and Medi-Cal/Cal Optima, as well as accept payment by cash, check or credit card. We are not owned by any hospital, insurance plan or IPA. This leaves us free to serve you the patient as our one and only customer.
