Board Certified, Family Medicine
We are pleased to introduce you to Natalie P. Sung, D.O., our newest full time Family Medicine physician at Gateway Medical Center. Dr. Sung will start with our group on April 1st, please give her a warm welcome!
Dr. Sung is board-certified in Family Medicine. She completed her Medical Degree in 2016, at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. She went on to complete her Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at PIH Health Downey Hospital in Downey, CA, from 2016 to 2019.
Dr. Sung has donated her time and expertise helping those in need nationally and internationally. In 2010, Dr. Sung traveled to Darhan, Mongolia, where she spent time in various rural villages providing free health care to patients in need, as well as offering education on proper diet and preventative health care. Then, in 2019, she traveled to Prima Tapia, Mexico, offering her medical services to others in need. Also, she has volunteered time in Elmira, NY, offering various medical services to those in the local community.
Before joining Gateway Medical Center, Dr. Sung worked in the Family Medicine Clinic of Shirish Patel, MD, in Lakewood, CA. Her professional associations include: American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Sung is married, and speaks fluent Korean. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, travelling, make-up artistry and playing piano. Dr. Sung is well-liked by her patients, they appreciate her caring, pleasant, and reassuring nature. Furthermore, her kind, professional demeanor earns her wide respect among her colleagues and others that she meets.
Dr. Sung is now available to see patients at Gateway’s Anaheim campus, 710 N. Euclid Street, Suite 301.
